Yes, I do a lot of work to make Beyond the Brushes happen, but really, your success depends on you. It's the old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." Well, there is plenty of "water" to drink in the community and the lessons and the LIVE sessions and the critiques and around every nook and cranny, but if you are not willing to take the first step or not willing to carve out the time or not willing to practice or not willing to accept constructive criticism or not willing to do anything else necessary for your success, you won't succeed.
There is some form of sacrifice behind every success story. People just see the bed of roses, but here is the honest truth, roses have thorns. Every success story has been pricked, has bled, has hurt, has failed at some point. Don't let people tell you differently. Even if that particular idea came to them easily, there is a pile of hurts and failures that lead up to it.
You don't have to be as old as the man in my painting to master painting in Photoshop, but you do have to be committed to learning. That is how you go beyond drawing stick figures to painting masterpieces. That is how you achieve things you never thought possible.
