Rufus Stifles Our Emotions

Rufus is the snooty, know it all, art critic that lives inside the mind of every artist.
To some extent, Rufus might be protecting us from feeling certain emotions, but long-term, this can actually stifle our progress.
Emotions are what drive creativity, and if they aren't imbued within your artwork, your painting is lacking its breath of life.
So, we should ask ourselves — what is it that I’m really scared of?
Losing control?
Ruining a painting?
Acknowledging and getting in touch with our real emotions allows us to tell Rufus to take a long walk off a short pier. That way, we can get on with the business of developing our individual artistic voice!
