“I dream of painting, and then I paint my dream.” -Vincent Van Gogh
Art is one part intuition and two parts imagination. Reality can be molded from impossible to possible all through some well-placed brushstrokes and time.
Ever heard, "If you can dream it, you can do it?" Well, that doesn't mean you'll be able to do it overnight or even by the end of the week. You have to put in the work to accomplish your dreams. What it does mean is that when your interest is piqued, you've kindled a fire that you can either fan or blow out if you're not careful.
Follow your intuition on painting projects because there is something drawing you to them. Don't be afraid to try new things or to repeat yourself over and over again. That is how learning happens!
Most of the recognized greats in their fields used a heaping dose of ambition to go along with intuition and imagination in order to make an impact. So, don't just dream of painting, get out there and paint your dream!
