Sometimes branching outside of your comfort zone gives you insight into who you are as an artist (or who you are not). Either way, the lesson is far too valuable to go unlearned.
Every once in a while, set up a date with your inner artist and explore your boundaries. I have a feeling you will find many things possible that you used to believe were impossible.
