Creativity is scary because it involves giving up control. It requires you to step into the unknown and persist when there is no end in sight.
It also can be frustrating! When you don’t have time to paint, something comes to you with the tag "paint now!" And when you want to paint something desperately, you have no ideas, or everything you attempt falls to pieces.
But here is the trick most of us fight tooth and nail...
The most successful paintings often end up completely opposite of the initial intentions. Let go and trust the process of creating. That is when you’ll make the very best art.
