Blessed to be Stressed

“I would rather die of passion than of boredom.” Vincent van Gogh

It's easy to become bogged down in the constant juggle of client pieces, learning new skills, working on your business or other jobs, handling things around the house, spending time with family, and the list can go on and on.

You can overbook and overwhelm yourself by doing too many things.

But...

Now, this is a big one. So, bear with me.

But...

In the thick of things, take a moment to stop and look around you.

All of those moving pieces? Well, they are working toward something.

YOU ARE WORKING TOWARD SOMETHING!

I know it can seem like 1 step forward and 2 steps back sometimes. Trust me, I have been there time and time again. But if we are always focusing on the stress or fatigue or work or just the negative in general, we lose sight of why we are doing all of it.

Being an artist is something other people only dream about doing. You are stepping up to the plate and doing the work to be one.

So, all of that stress? Well, just consider it a blessing. Keep striving to create and work in a field you are passionate about. It is an opportunity many people shy away from and settle for ordinary when all it takes is a little extra to be extraordinary.
